What's new

  1. v0.9.5September 4, 2026
    Fixed

More reliable saves on spotty connections

Improved save reliability and conflict handling when your connection drops mid-workout.

If your connection dropped while saving a workout, you could occasionally end up with a stuck or duplicated entry. Saves are now more resilient to spotty gym wifi, and editing the same workout from two places no longer risks losing data — the most recent edit always wins cleanly.

  2. v0.9.4September 1, 2026
    NewImproved

Routines and splits now work offline

Build and edit routines and splits with no signal, and they'll sync once you're back online.

Kizu's offline support now covers routines and splits, not just logged workouts. Build a split at the gym with no signal — it queues locally and syncs automatically the moment you're back online.

  3. v0.9.3August 24, 2026
    New

Forgot your password? Now you can reset it

Self-serve password reset, right from the login screen.

No more getting locked out. Tap "Forgot password" on the login screen, follow the email link, and you're back in — no support ticket required.

  4. v0.9.2August 22, 2026
    Improved

    Say less, fist bump more

Likes on the feed are now fist bumps, with a redesigned feed to match.

Hearts felt off for a workout app, so likes are now fist bumps 👊. The whole feed got a matching visual refresh — cleaner cards, clearer stats, same feed you already check between sets.

  5. v0.9.2August 22, 2026
    New

Build real splits, not just routines

Combine routines into a split, including alternating patterns like Push/Pull/Legs.

Routines just got a home to live in. Splits let you chain routines together — including alternating patterns like Push/Pull/Legs — and set one split active so Home always knows what you're training next.

  6. v0.9.0August 17, 2026
    Improved

Your data just got a lot safer

A full backend security pass tightened access rules across the app.

We spent a focused stretch auditing exactly who can see and change what in Kizu. The result: friend requests, feed posts, and your workout history are now locked down with stricter access rules across the board, and a couple of edge cases that could have exposed more than intended are closed for good.

Nothing changes about how the app feels to use — this one's all under the hood.
